21-08-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel representing the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner admits that pursuant to the order passed by the learned writ court, the case of the petitioner was considered for promotion and he has been granted promotion as Headmaster on 21.02.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner who attempted to impress upon this court that the learned writ court had directed grant of promotion with effect from 31.12.2013 but upon going through the order passed by the learned writ court this court finds no such direction. In absence of any adjudication on the issue now sought to be raised by the petitioner, this contempt application has become infructuous, and it is disposed off, accordingly.
