JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-09-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 186C of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

From the complaint petition, it appears that complainant was married with this petitioner 11 years ago. After marriage, the complainant was subjected to torture and cruelty due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry by the accused persons. All the accused persons assaulted complainant and ousted her along with her kid from the matrimonial home. It is submitted that petitioner has been falsely

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner happens to be the husband of complainant, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 186C of 2018. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
