Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail on behalf of the four petitioners in connection with Atari P.S. Case No. 52 of 2017 registered under sections 302, 201 & 120-B IPC. On the self statement of the SHO, the FIR was lodged alleging that the co-accused Tapeshwar Yadav killed his daughter and was preparing to dispose of the dead body. The informant went to the place of occurrence and noticed that the petitioners were engaged in disposing of the dead body. Seeing the police the accused persons ran away.

The contention of the petitioners is that they are not

No.33689 of 2017 (2) dt.20-07-2017 2/2 close family members of the co-accused Tapeshwar Yadav who is said to have killed his daughter as she was having a love affair with a co-villager. It may be a case under section 201 against the petitioners. The petitioners have no criminal antecedents. Counsel for the State opposed the prayer and placed the impugned order wherefrom it appears that in course of investigation witnesses have supported the prosecution case. Looking to the seriousness of the offence and other materials reflecting from the record, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Prayer is rejected. Let the petitioners surrender and pray for regular bail which shall be considered and disposed of on its own merit in accordance with law.
