2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 391 of 2023 dated 27.05.2023 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners got appointed as Special Surveyor/Amin on the basis of forged and fabricated certificates.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49431 of 2024(3) dt.20-09-2024 2/2 The petitioners have been terminated from their service and they are not working as of now. The petitioners have no criminal antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The other coaccused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 15.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 79180 of 2023.

6. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioners.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the nature of allegation against the petitioners, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court concerned, Siwan in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 391 of 2023, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

8. This application stands allowed.
