This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been added.
In course of occurrence of assault, co-accused, Khublal Manjhi, allegedly caused injury on the head of the father of the informant. There is general and omni bus allegation against the petitioner and others to have caused assault. Considering the nature of allegation, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Sessions Trial No. 978 of 2016 arising out of Pipra P.S. Case No. 55 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional District Judge, XIV, East Champaran at Motihari, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
