The petitioner being the father of the husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 13.08.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusations are of killing the daughter of the informant after three years of marriage for non-fulfillment of dowry demand and disposing off dead body.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation is not specific and accusation of demand of Pulsar Motorcycle obviously indicates the accusation towards the husband of the victim who is in custody and the informant has retracted from his initial version and filed a
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40927 of 2014 (3) dt.22-01-2015 2 / 2 petition to that effect before the learned court below.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M. West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 47 of 2014.
