====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 25-08-2023 The present writ has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(a). For issuance of an order / direction / writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding the respondent concerned to grant the promotion to the petitioner effective retrospective date i.e. 25.5.1989 as contained in Annexure-2/A vide memo no.46/25.5.89 in view thereof discharging the duty of driver in the said Zila Parishad, which was duly considered in meeting of the Zila Parishad, Siwan on 12.1.2011 as evident from the proceeding minute as well also duly recommended by the Deputy Development Commissioner, Siwan and sent to the Chairman for approval for the same
Patna High Court CWJC No.11967 of 2015(2) dt.25-08-2023 2/2 as contained in Annexure-6 to this writ petition. (b). For issuance of an order / direction / writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding the respondent concerned to grant all consequential benefit i.e. pay scale, arrear etc. as per the law from effective date of promotion as the petitioner entitled for.."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
