22-11-2017 Heard Sri Bimlesh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is having clean antecedent as stated in paragraph - 3 of the petition apprehending his arrest in Bettiah (Town) P.S. Case No. 320 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30, 33, 34, 36, 38(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail in the event of his arrest or surrender.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that to the reasons best known to the police, a raid was conducted in the number of houses of petitioner's village and from one house, recovery of about 5 liter of country-made liquor was shown to be recovered and petitioner has been

However, the name of villagers has not been disclosed, who had disclosed the name of petitioner. Considering the nature of accusation and clean antecedent, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the petitioner namely Sagar Ram @ Sagar Kumar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah (Town) P.S.
