JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 12-09-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ/ writs, order/ orders, direction/ directions to the respondent authorities for handing over vacant possession of the low income group housing plot to the petitioner or return back the amount, with interest, which the petitioner had deposited in favour of the respondent Bihar State Housing Board for getting the low income group housing plot."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-Bihar State Housing Board, Patna,

Patna High Court CWJC No.16364 of 2015(4) dt.12-09-2024 2/2 submits that the money deposited by the petitioner, shall be refunded to him in view of coming into effect of the Digha Acquired Land Settlement Act, 2010, along with compound interest and for the said purposes the petitioner may file an affidavit along with relevant documents, declaring the factual aspect of the matter and in case the same is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the requisite cheque, for the amount to be refunded to the petitioner, shall be handed over to her within a period of six weeks, thereafter, after making necessary verification and in accordance with law. It is directed accordingly. 3.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
