The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dhansoi P. S. Case No.63 of 2021, instituted for the offences under Sections 304(B)/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 01.07.2021, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the informant alleges that her daughter was married to Narendra Singh in 2019. Further when the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56412 of 2021(2) dt.23-02-2022 2/3 marriage of Puja Kumari and Sunita Kumari, both sisters of Narendra Singh was fixed in 2020. Thereafter, the petitioner along with accused persons started demanding Rs.50,000/- and even tortured for non-fulfilment of the demand. On 11.04.2021, the informant was informed by Sonu Singh, a Ward Member that his sister is ill and accordingly, the informant reached at the place of occurrence and found the dead body of his daughter lying outside the house. Accordingly, alleges that the petitioner along with accused persons killed her for non-fulfilment of demand of dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. The husband is in custody. It is also submitted that the petitioner along with his wife and daughters are living separately from Narendra Kumar Singh and as such, was not responsible what was going on in between them.

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, he is a person with clean antecedent and chargesheet has been submitted in this case, the petitioner, abovenamed, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56412 of 2021(2) dt.23-02-2022 3/3 bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Buxar in connection with Dhansoi P. S. Case No.63 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
