2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mehandiganj P.S. Case No. 217/ 2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 108 of the BNS.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the deceased happened to be wife of this petitioner and their marriage took place 20 years ago and on the alleged date of the occurrence, all the family members of the petitioner including his two children were present inside the house and then suddenly the deceased went inside the room and committed suicide. Though, there is allegation against the petitioner that he abetted the deceased to commit suicide but the same is not applicable as there is no material to show that there was a direct connection between the alleged act of the petitioner and the

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer of the petitioner.

Considering the above submissions as well as facts and circumstances of this case and mainly coupled with this fact that the deceased committed suicide 20 years after her marriage and further, the prosecution has not shown any requirement of petitioner's interrogation, in my opinion, the petitioner deserves to the relief of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Mehandiganj P.S. Case No. 217/ 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
