The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 15/2024, arising out of Saharsa Sadar P.S. Case No. 620 of 2023 dated 04.09.2023, registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. Subsequently added section 25(1-B)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have fired upon the informant causing firearm injury at his chest.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. No incriminating material has been recovered from the petitioner.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also period of custody, this bail application is allowed. 7.

Let the petitioner above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge IV, Saharsa in connection with S.T. No. 15/2024, arising out of Saharsa Sadar P.S. Case No. 620 of 2023, subject to the condition that: (I) The petitioner will mark his attendance at Saharsa Sadar Police Station on first Sunday of each month. Default in appearance at the local Police Station will result into cancellation of his bail bond.
