Let the petitioners file application before the Vice-Chancellor of the university, who will consider the right of these petitioners for grant of promotion on a Class-III post in accordance with prevalent rules or guidelines in place.
A decision must be taken within a period of three months from the date of production / communication of a copy of this order.
Both the writ applications stand disposed off with observation as above.
