2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gadhara P.S. Case No. 27 of 2026 instituted for the offences under Sections 324(4), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 74, 303(2), 352 and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 12 of the POCSO Act.

3. The allegation is that the twelve year old daughter of the informant had gone to fetch milk, and it was there that the petitioner attempted to kidnap her. He also attempted to run over the said daughter with a motorcycle. When the daughter tried to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45534 of 2026(2) dt.08-07-2026 2/3 raise an alarm, a number of persons, including the petitioner, arrived armed with a pistol and pressurised the informant to withdraw Gadhara P.S. Case Nos. 10 of 2022 and 87 of 2025.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 17.04.2026 and that there is a history of animosity between the parties. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering that there is a history of animosity between the parties and the petitioner has been in custody since 17.04.2026, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai/concerned Court in connection with Gadhara P.S. Case No. 27 of 2026.

8. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application.
