JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-09-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents.

The petitioner is running a Flour Mill (Aatta Chakki) since 1977 near Sanjay Chiema Road, P.S. Brahmpura in the district of Muzaffarpur. Trouble started in the year 2007 when a wrong electric bill of Rs.47,769/- was served and the line was disconnected, which was subsequently on representation of the petitioner was corrected and modified to Rs.26,000/-. As directed by the Electrical Executive Engineer, the petitioner deposited Rs.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15842 of 2013 (2) dt.11-09-2015 2 / 2 13,000/- and the line was restored. Again a Bill for Rs. 47,769/- was issued on 30.11.2007 against which the petitioner approached the District Consumer Forum. The Consumer Forum after hearing the parties, directed the petitioner to deposit Rs. 4,000/- of the previous dues and further Rs. 4,000/- to the current bill, total Rs.8,000/-.

The petitioner submits that he has deposited the said amount and his electric line has also now been restored. The petitioner submits that the Electrical Executive Engineer (respondent no.5) would issue a fresh bill after adjusting the various payments made by him.

I find that the prayer of the petitioner is just and proper. The respondent no.5 would decide the matter and issue a fresh bill after adjusting the amount already paid. This application stands disposed of.
