2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of dowry death. As per the prosecution case, all the accused persons named in the F.I.R., including this petitioner, killed the daughter of informant due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been made accused in this case merely because he is husband of the deceased. Petitioner never demanded any dowry nor ever tortured the deceased. As a matter of fact, deceased was experiencing stomach ache and on the way to hospital, she succumbed.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is husband of the deceased, who is alleged to have tortured and killed her due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. The deceased died within seven years of marriage, in unnatural circumstances at her matrimonial house.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
