JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 24-08-2023 Heard Mr. Shubh Narain Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University.

2. The petitioner has prayed for following relief in the present writ petition which is reproduced as follows:-

Patna High Court CWJC No.11588 of 2023 dt.24-08-2023 2/3 "1. (i) For command and directing the respondents for payment of gratuity ten lacs (10,00,000/-) with interest.

(ii) For the payment of earn leave.

(ii) For differences of arrears of salary and pension of Senior Scale from 1998 to till date. (iv) For payment of Group Insurance with 121⁄2% compound interest.

(v) For payment of monetary benefits/ benefits as Senior Lecturer, retiral dues and pension has fixed by the respondents w.e.f. 27.07.1998. (vi) For I.R. from June 1983 to 1985.

(vii) For U.G.C. revised pay scale difference from 12.1.1986 to Dec. 1989.

(viii) For claim statement of different of pay, D.A. and others from Jan. 1990 to Oct. 1992. (ix) Group Insurance with 12 1⁄2% compound interest.

(x) For 9% interest on D.D.A. amount, aforesaid amount related to B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. The aforesaid relief (s) (i) to (v), (vi) to (x) are related to B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.

And/or for any other relief/reliefs to the petitioner for which he may entitled to in the eye of law."

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been advised to file representation with respect to payment of retiral dues, as prayed for in the present writ petition, before the Registrar, Jai Prakash University, Chapra.

4. The Registrar, Jai Prakash University, Chapra, respondent no. 5 is directed to call for the service records, relating

Patna High Court CWJC No.11588 of 2023 dt.24-08-2023 3/3 to the petitioner, and redress the grievance of the petitioner by making payment of retiral dues in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of the representation.

5. Any records relating to the petitioner is required from the erstwhile B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. The same may be called for from the Registrar, B.R.A. Bihar University Muzaffarpur to the petitioner's University within the aforesaid period.

6. With the above observation and direction the writ petition stands disposed of.
