2. The petitioner seeks bail in a Bangra P.S. Case no. 154/2024, registered for offence under Sections 406, 420,, 409 and 34 of IPC .
3 . As per prosecution case, petitioner is husband of co-accused Bardun Khatoon and it is further alleged that this petitioner used to handle the joint account of his wife Smt. Bardun Khatoon in which the fund of Nal Jal Yojana was transferred. It is further alleged that petitioner along with other co-accused persons defalcated huge government money of Rs. 23,14,925 /- without completing the work in question .
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged.

No.46600 of 2025(2) dt.22-08-2025 2/2 Petitioner has been made accused in this case only because he happens to be husband of co-accused Bardun Khatoon in whose name a joint account along with other co-accused person was opened and the entire aforesaid defalcated amount of Nal Jal Yojana was transferred to Md. Jabbar Khan . Petitioner has got no concern with the alleged amount of Nal Jal Yojana . Petitioner claims clean antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 28.12.2024 . Chargesheet has already been submitted.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts, period of custody , clean antecedent of this petitioner and circumstances of the case , let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Bagalpur in connection with Sanhaulla P.S. Case No. 189 of 2022 .
