Petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No.04 of 2024 (G.R. Case No.103 of 2024), registered for the offence punishable u/s 341, 323, 353, 34 of the IPC.

Allegedly, the F.I.R. named accused persons including the petitioners are said to have caused hindrance in due discharge of official duty of the informant and other police officials by attacking the police officials and throwing bricks-stones on them.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51938 of 2024(2) dt.04-09-2024 2/2 petitioners are quite innocent and have not committed any offence. They have been falsely implicated in this case due to ulterior motive. There is no specific allegation against the petitioners and they have not attacked the police party. No person has sustained any injury in the alleged occurrence. Petitioners have one criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that there is allegation against the petitioners. 6.

Considering the nature of allegation that the petitioners hindered the police in discharge of their official duty, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on their behalf is hereby rejected. 7.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
