2. The present writ application has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 3 for disposal of Election Petition No. 126 of 2025 at the earliest, which has been filed by the petitioner challenging the election of Respondent No. 5 on various grounds.

3. The relief being sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is very limited in nature and is only confined

Patna High Court CWJC No.11540 of 2025(2) dt.22-07-2025 2/2 to the issuance of the direction to the Respondent No. 3 (Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Patna Division, Patna) to decide the pending Election Petition No. 126 of 2025 at the earliest.

4. To this limited nature of prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State does not have any objection.

5. Considering the formal nature of prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 3 (Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Patna Division, Patna) to decide the Election Petition No. 126 of 2025 within a period of four months, after hearing all the concerned, in accordance with law.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction the present writ application stands disposed of.
