The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 30(a), 30(d) and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. As per the prosecution case, 80 litres of Mahua liquor and 600 litres of fermented liquor was recovered from the place of occurrence, however the accused managed to escape. He was identified by the Choukidar and the public as the petitioner herein.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations in the F.I.R., the petitioner not having been arrested at the spot together with the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 9 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55651 of 2021(3) dt.10-05-2022 2/2 connection with Sirdalla P.S. Case no.184 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Nawada.
