Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Karpi P.S. Case No.20 of 2019, registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant disclosed that while she and her two group members were returning to their house after withdrawing Rs.49,000/- from the bank, two persons came on a motorcycle and they snatched money from her possession and fled away. The informant identified the petitioner, Ravindra Kumar as one of the persons who snatched money from the possession of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case is compromised but it appears that it is a case of road robbery in which while the informant and her two group

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
