2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the following reliefs:- "(i). For issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 22.05.2019 passed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police cum Deputy Commandant General, Home Guard Battalion, Bihar, Patna, issued vide Memo

Patna High Court CWJC No.10748 of 2025 dt.15-07-2025 2/3 No.369 dated 29.06.2019 by District Commandant, Bihar Home Guard Battalion, Kaimur (Bhabhua), contained in AnnexureP/16 whereby and whereunder the representation made by petitioner for appointment on the remaining vacant posts in advertisement No.02/2011 of Home Guard Battalion has been rejected.

(ii) Issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner on the vacant post in advertisement No.02/2011 of District Kaimur (Bhabhua).

(iii) Issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner out of the 1st merit list prepared for appointment of 315 posts of District Home Guard Battalion, Kaimur, Bhabua and remaining 42 posts is remain still vacant after appointment of 253 candidates of Home Guard.

(iv) Issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of petitioner for appointment on the post of home Guard in the District of Kaimur in the light of advertisement No.2 of 2011 on the basis of merit list prepared on District level as per reservation made for E.B.C. category and fill up the remaining vacant post by

Patna High Court CWJC No.10748 of 2025 dt.15-07-2025 3/3 appointing the petitioner on the said post as per his reserved E.B.C. category.

(v) Issuance of any other appropriate writ(s) or order(s) or direction(s) which may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. It transpires to this Court that petitioner has come forward before this Court after lapse of six years. As such, delay shall not be entertained in the present writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
