The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Pier P.S. Case No.161 of 2020 registered for the offences under Section 7(1)(a)(1) of the Essential Commodities Act. Considering the fact that the petitioner is involved in black-marketing of fertilizer, I am not inclined to grant the anticipatory bail to him. This application for anticipatory bail is dismissed.
