In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:

"For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction for quashing the communication P7-2/2016 Estb. Dated 09.03.2016 by which the petitioner has not

Constable (Male) on the ground of unsatisfactory record of service. However the cause is irrelevant as per the direction of the Special Director General of C.R.P.F.

The petitioner further prays for direction to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion as HeadConstable/Surgent and for grant of promotional benefit for which he may be found entitled on the ground that he joined the service on 08.07.2000 as G.D. Constable in the CRPF and till today he has not been considered for promotion.

And for any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner may be found entitled."

Petitioner's challenge is in respect of decision of the respondent no.7, an office situated in Rohtak, State of Haryana. The petitioner is presently working under the territorial jurisdiction of State of Jharkhand, therefore, he is permitted to file writ petition either in Punjab and Haryana High Court or High Court of Jharkhand. This Court has no territorial jurisdiction to entertain and set aside an order passed by the office-respondent no.7, Rohtak, State of Haryana. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed

Patna High Court CWJC No.2264 of 2021 dt.21-04-2022 3/3 on the ground of territorial jurisdiction with reference to Article 226 (2) of the Constitution.

The petitioner is at liberty to approach territorial jurisdictional forum.
