2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act 2016.

3. Prosecution case is that 474.860 liters foreign liquor were recovered from bush situated near village .

4. It is submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposed and submitted that huge quantity of liquor have been recovered from

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51787 of 2024(2) dt.29-08-2024 2/2 the place of occurrence and petitioner has got nine criminal antecedents of similar nature .

6. Considering the facts of the case as also the fact that huge quantity of liquor have been recovered and petitioner has got nine criminal antecedents of similar nature , prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
