The petitioner, namely, Jailal Singh is in custody since 15.06.2014 in N.D.P.S. Case No.14 of 2014 arising out of Parsa P.S. Case No.76 of 2014 under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

According to the prosecution case, from the house of the petitioner 4 kg. 800 gm. ganja was recovered and the petitioner was found fleeing away from the house. The police chased him and then arrested him.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that from the conscious possession of the petitioner nothing has been recovered and moreover the quantity of ganja recovered is not a

Considering the nature of allegation and the period of detention, I direct that the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Chapra at Saran in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.14 of 2014 arising out of Parsa P.S. Case No.76 of 2014 subject to the condition that one of the bailors should be close relative of the petitioner.
