The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

The petitioner is a PDS dealer. When the authorities went to inspect the shop of the petitioner, the shop was closed. That much is the allegation, hence, in my view, the petitioner deserves to be released on anticipatory bail. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like
