2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sanichari P.S. Case No. 8 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2), 96, 64(1) of the BNS and Section 4 of POCSO Act.
3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with other accused persons, named in the FIR, enticed away the daughter of the informant.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The victim did not support the prosecution case in her statement under Section 183 of BNSS. According to the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48093 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 2/2 entries in Aadhaar card, the age of the victim is above 19 years, whereas according to matriculation certificate, she is aged about 17 years, 5 months and 13 days. The petitioner is under custody since 28-01-2025.
5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge POCSO cum D.A.S.J-VI, Bettiah West Champaran in connection with Sanichari P.S. Case No. 8 of 2025, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
