This application for regular bail arises out of Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 09 of 2021, disclosing offence punishable under Section 25(1-b)a 26/25 of the Arms Act and under Section-3/4 of Explosives Substance Act. Perused the report received from the court of learned 15th Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bhagalpur, submitted in compliance of this Court's order dated 23.11.2022. From the said report, it transpires that seven charge-sheet witnesses and three other witnesses have already been examined at the trial and the prosecution evidence has been closed at the request of the prosecution. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 46736 of 2022(6) dt.18-01-2023 2/2 Section 313 of the Cr.P.C. on 20.01.2023.

Considering the circumstance that the trial is at the verge of its conclusion, I am not inclined to consider the petitioner's prayer for regular bail. This application is accordingly dismissed but with an observation that let the trial court ensure that the trial is concluded as expeditiously as it is possible.
