This is an application seeking quashing of the entire criminal proceeding in connection with Peerbahor P.S. Case No. 225 of 2015 dated 19.09.2015 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(i)(x) of the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.

On 15.09.2020, this Court had called for a report about the stage of the case from the court below. The report has been received which indicates that the case is pending awaiting the submission of final form/report.

This is a case of the year 2015 and it does not

The investigation ought to have been completed by now. Let the Investigating Agency complete the investigation and submit a report before the court below preferably within a period of three months from today. In case the report submitted by the police or any order taken by the court on such report is not to the satisfaction of the petitioner, he would be at liberty to avail of the remedies to which he is legally entitled. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
