The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in Tajpur Halai P.S. Case No.14 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(A), 38(B) and 47 of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.
It has been alleged that the police on information has raided the place and from there 48 bottles of Royal Stag foreign liquor was recovered. Allegation has been made that petitioners and others are engaged in trade of illegal liquor. In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected.
