The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chenari P. S. Case No.22 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.02.2021 and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.
Allegation is of recovery of 765.540 litre of liquor from a pick-up van as detailed in the F.I.R.
It is submitted that petitioner was not arrested from the spot and is suffering from polio and his name has come based on secret information received by the police. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.
Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 24.02.2021 and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge2nd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Chenari P. S. Case No.22 of 2020. The application stands allowed.
