2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 373 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

3. As per allegation, the informant along with police party asked the petitioner to stop his vehicle but he fled away. After chase, the police party caught him and on search of his vehicle, 280.31 liters of illicit liquor was recovered.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He is a person of clean antecedent. No incriminating

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49866 of 2024(2) dt.24-07-2024 2/2 article was recovered from his conscious possession. He is under custody since 2.04.2024.

5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as clean antecedent, let the petitioner above-named is directed to furnish bail bond after three months from today and on doing so, the court below shall release the petitioner on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge (Excise-II), Purnea in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 373 of 2024, subject to the following condition:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
