JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 15-03-2023 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rail P.S. Sonpur Case No. 70 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 8/20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence and he is in custody since 08.04.2022. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail by contending that 24 kg of Ganja has been recovered from the possession of petitioner in a bag. Considering the huge recovery of Ganja, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46763 of 2022(6) dt.15-03-2023 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail, if he brings some new fact about him of being a good student before this Court.
