2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case No. 9 of 2024 registered on 04.01.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. As per prosecution, the FIR has been lodged against five named accused persons including the present petitioner against whom there is allegation that all the accused persons are involved in the killing of the informant's daughter and in this regard the case has been lodged under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51370 of 2024(2) dt.21-08-2024 2/3 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submits that from the contents of the FIR it becomes crystal clear that there is general and omnibus allegation against the accused persons including the present petitioner. He submits that the petitioner is the cousin father-in-law having clean antecedent. He further submits that the mother-in-law has already been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 20.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42951 of 2024.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is direct involvement of the petitioner in the killing of the informant's daughter which is apparent from the FIR.
7. In the facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 6 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of ₹30,000/- (thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to
