Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Complaint Case 3057 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioners, who happen to be father-in-law, brothers-in-law (Bhiasur) and sister-in-law (Gotni) of the complainant are said to have tormented the complainant over
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42951 of 2019(5) dt.16-11-2019 2/3 dowry demand and drove her out of her marital house snatching her belongings over the said demand along with husband of the complainant It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have no concern with the aforesaid occurrence. They have neither made any demand nor ever tormented the complainant over the said demand nor drove her out of her marital house snatching her belongings. Allegation levelled against the petitioners is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. Husband of the complainant is ready to keep the complainant with him with full owner and dignity, and on filing bail petition by the husband, the matter has been referred to the Patna High Court Mediation Centre for reconciliation, and in case of reconciliation between the parties, the petitioners will facilitate living of the complainant in their house comfortably and without any hassle. Petitioners have been enlarged on provisional bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 12.07.2019.
Learned counsel for the O.P. No. 2 also conceded the factum of reference of the matter of the husband of complainant to Mediation Centre for reconciliation. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42951 of 2019(5) dt.16-11-2019 3/3 case, provisional bail granted to the petitioners vide order dated 12.07.2019 is hereby confirmed and this bail petition is disposed of.
