2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Singhwara P.S. Case No. 32 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 87, 74, 303(2), 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the BNS and Section 67 of the I.T. Act.

The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 31.01.2025 at about 06:PM, when the informant was returning home on her scooty, the petitioner and co-accused Shashi Kumar, allegedly intercepted her on the way. It is alleged that the accused persons pointed a knife at her and forcibly took away her purse containing cash of Rs. 5,000/- and gold chain. It is further alleged that the accused persons forcibly took her on the motorcycle. On alarm raised by the victim, the local people started chasing them, upon which, the accused persons fled away leaving the informant on the road. It has also been alleged that on an earlier occasion as well, the same accused persons had committed a similar offence against the informant, for which, Mahila P.S. Case No. 12 of 2021 was registered, which was later on compromised.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

No.45105 of 2025(4) dt.10-12-2025 2/2 that prior to the present occurrence, the informant has lodged a case, in which, the petitioner faced trial and was acquitted by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, in Sessions Trial No. 488 of 2022, dated 13.12.2024. In that case, the victim/informant had turned hostile. It is further submitted that the statement of Kapileshwar Chaupal has not been recorded in the case diary.
5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-IV, Darbhanga at Laheriasari in connection with Singhwara P.S. Case No. 32 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the CrPC/482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
7. The petitioner will appear in the court on each and every date fixed by the trial court till framing of charges, otherwise, his bail bond shall be cancelled.
