The present writ application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for the following relief:

"Seeking indulgence of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of writ of Habeas Corpus for a direction to Respondents to handover the custody of his 9 months maternal grand daughter (Natini) who is in illegal custody of accused persons of Lalganj P.S. Case No.

395 of 2021 registered Under Sections 304B, 201, 363/34 of the Indian Penal Code hence for the purpose of writ, it amounts to

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1038 of 2022(3) dt.09-11-2022 2/2 equivalent to an unlawful imprisonment of child in the hands of accused persons. The petitioner apprehends danger to her life also. The Respondents even after several applications are sitting tight over the matter, not taking away any steps for arrest of accused persons for recovery of 9 months old Natini (maternal grand daughter) who is in illegal custody of accused persons".

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that he does not want to press the present Criminal Writ application as the relief, sought for in the present application has already been redressed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Writ application stands dismissed as infructuous.
