2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 162 of 2025 dated 13.04.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 118(2), 109(1), 303(2) read with Section 3(5) of the B.N.S.
3. As per the prosecution case, when the informant was returning his home, in the meantime, the co-accused Laddu Gope stopped him, thereafter, the petitioner and co-accused Nawal Gope and Dhananjay Gope came there and assaulted and threatened him to kill, further the petitioner and the co-accused Laddu Gope repeatedly gave blow of knife on the informant due

No.44964 of 2025(2) dt.06-08-2025 2/3 to which he sustained injuries and fell down on the ground, thereafter, two accused persons also came and assaulted the informant with iron rod and bricks. When the nearest people came to save him, in the meantime, the co-accused Laddu Gope snatched his mobile phone and Rs. 1700/- from his pocket and fled away.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that as per the injury report of the injured, the injury is stated to be simple in nature caused by sharp weapon. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner rather the allegation is general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged occurrence. The petitioner has two criminal antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 04.05.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44964 of 2025(2) dt.06-08-2025 3/3 of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Biharsharif in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 162 of 2025.
7. The application stands allowed.
