The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 212 of 2020 dated 20.04.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 366(a), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 12 of the POCSO Act.

The minor daughter of the informant was abducted by one Suraj Patel for the purposes of marrying her. In that act, the petitioners who happen to be Suraj Patel's father, mother and grand-father have

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that aforesaid Suraj Patel has been granted regular bail.

The victim has given her statement that she, of her own accord, married Suraj Patel. Apart from this, it has been submitted that the medical examination of the victim girl discloses that she is within the age group of 17 - 18 years.

Regard being had to the aforestated fact, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge-VI, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 212 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
