In the present case, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that his basic grievance has already been redressed as the petitioner has been allowed to continue on contract basis. The Government has also framed Rule with regard to appointment in regular manner and the job has been assigned to the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (hereinafter to be referred to as 'the Commission'). The Commission has also issued notification for regular appointment of Laboratory Technician on 21.6.2015 but, every time, the Commission is extending the last date for filling up the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2682 of 2013 (8) dt.17-02-2016 application. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Commission should not extend the time of last date any further and bring it to the logical conclusion within a reasonable period and make appointment of the persons who are declared successful. As the prayer is completely innocuous, if a notification has been issued, it is expected that the Commission shall complete the selection process including furnishing its recommendation of the selected candidates within a reasonable time preferably within a period of six months from today.

With the aforementioned observations, this application is disposed of.
