JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 17-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(a). For quashing the letter no. 384 dated 18.03.2021 (Annexure- 2) by which the candidature of petitioner for compassionate appointment has been suspended on the ground ground that uptill now new rule of compassionate appointment is not effective.

(b). For direction to respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground as regular appointee as per decision taken in earlier issued circular and appoint petitioner on any suitable post in Education Department."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies for redressal of his grievance pertaining to non-compliance of the order dated 3.7.2019, passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court, in CWJC No. 4721 of 2018. It goes without saying that the petitioner is free to avail such remedies as are available under the law.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
