====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL ORDER 13 22-05-2017 In view of the order passed by the respondents on 14.05.2015 deciding the claim of the petitioner and making the payment, in the absence of there being any positive direction to pay interest to the petitioner on account of delay in settling the claim, interest cannot be granted in the contempt proceedings. However, the petitioner for the delay is at liberty to challenge the same afresh in accordance with law. That apart, in case the petitioner has any grievance with regard to the manner in which the quantification and the claim has been made, liberty shall also be available to the petitioner to claim further benefit in
Patna High Court MJC No.3159 of 2013 (13) dt.22-05-2017 2/2 accordance with law.
The further admitted claim of Rs.3,26,800/- be now paid to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already paid.
