The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No.92 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

352.230 litres of Indian made foreign liquor has been recovered from a poultry farm which belongs to the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that there is no recovery from the conscious possession of the petitioner rather 352.230

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56908 of 2021(4) dt.24-06-2022 2/2 litres of Indian made foreign liquor has been recovered from the poultry farm of the petitioners. It is also submitted that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application.

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Taking into consideration the fact that said liquor has been recovered from the poultry farm of the petitioners, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
