The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in Jurawanpur P.S. Case No. 114/2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341/323/307/379/504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner has suppressed his criminal antecedent in the main petition and has filed the supplementary affidavit in which he has disclosed his antecedent.

Now-a-days, this kind of tactics is being adopted by the accused persons to mislead the High Court so that his criminal antecedent does not come to the notice of the Bench hearing the case.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6817 of 2021(4) dt.18-01-2022 2/2 In view of the above, this anticipatory bail application is dismissed with a cost of Rupees Five Thousand (Rs. 5,000/-) which shall be deposited by the petitioner in the Victim Compensation Fund within eight weeks.

If the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks then the Court below shall consider the case of the petitioner on merits without being prejudiced by the fact that his application for grant of anticipatory bail has been rejected by this Court.

It is directed that the court below will only consider the regular bail of the petitioner on production of receipt of the cost of Rupees Five Thousand having been deposited by the petitioner in the Victim Compensation Fund.
