The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/23 of the NDPS Act.

In pursuance to the order dated 07.04.2021, status report of trial in connection with Laukaha (Lalmaniya) P.S. Case No. 301 of 2020 has been received and kept at Flag-R, in which it is stated that out of four witnesses, three witnesses have been examined.

Considering the present stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Laukaha (Lalmaniya) P.S. Case No. 301 of 2020 pending before the court of the learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Madhubani.
