JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-08-2023 This application has been filed for modification of order dated 12.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 12077 of 2020 for extension of period of surrender.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that earlier petitioner and her husband were granted anticipatory bail by order dated 12.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 12077 of 2020, whereby they were directed to surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of order, but the petitioner and her husband could not surrender within time due to Corona pandemic and lockdown. Thereafter, husband of the petitioner died on 05.11.2021 and petitioner was not aware of the said order.

3. For reasons assigned in the petition, four weeks

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50977 of 2023(2) dt.09-08-2023 2/2 further time from the date of receipt of this order is allowed to the petitioner to surrender in the court below.

4. This modification application is accordingly, allowed.
