The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 233 of 2019 registered under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code. His prayer for bail was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 19.03.2020 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 86709 of 2019 considering the specific case against him that while committing robbery he had caused injury with knife to the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and by now he has remained in custody for over two years and there is no progress in the trial.
Learned counsel for the State has opposed the application for grant of bail to the petitioner.
