1. The petitioners have filed this writ application for a direction to the respondents to grant Time-Bound promotion/pay scale of selection grade to the petitioners.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the case of the petitioners is identical to the order passed in C.W.J.C. No. 11420 of 1997. As such, the petitioners are entitled to be given promotional benefits, which have been extended to the petitioner(s) of the aforesaid writ application.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the case of petitioner no. 1 was considered as per the order passed in C.W.J.C. No. 11420 of 1997 and the petitioner no. 1 has been granted higher pay scale after completion of ten years of service vide order dated 14.06.2016.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that so far as

Patna High Court CWJC No.2169 of 2016(9) dt.15-04-2024 2/2 the petitioner no. 2 is concerned, no order has been passed by the District Programme Officer, West Champaran, at Bettiah, regarding his claim.

5. Learned counsel for the State, referring to paragraphs 5 and 6 of the counter affidavit, submits that a joint statement has been made for petitioner nos. 1 and 2 both, however he is not sure whether a separate order has been passed on the claim of petitioner no. 2.

6. Regards being had to the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let a separate order be passed for petitioner no. 2 upon his claim/grievance by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks from today, if the same has not already been passed as yet, in the light of the order passed in C.W.J.C. No. 11420 of 1997.

7. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application is disposed.
